  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 12 cup sweet yellow onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves, roughly chopped

Directions

    Open the tomatoes and drain them.

    Put all other ingredients into food processor and pulse until a coarse chop is achieved.

    Add tomatoes and pulse until the desired texture is reached.

    Put into a sealable container and chill in the refrigerator for several hours.
