  • 1 package yellow cakemix
  • 1 package (4 serving size) vanilla instant pudding/pie filling mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups grated zucchini
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup fruit juice
  • 3 1/2 cup tart drained cherries
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring

Directions

    Heat juice, sugar and flour stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

    Pour thickened mixture over cherries.

    Mix and pour into pastry lined pan.

    Cover with top crust with slits cut in it. Bake until nicely browned.

    Bake at 425°.
