- 2 cubes butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tube (40) soda crackers
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Line cookie sheet with foil and spray with Pam.

2Place soda crackers on cookie sheet.

3Bring butter and brown sugar to rolling boil; stir and boil 3 minutes (no longer) or to soft ball stage on candy thermometer.

4Pour over soda crackers.

5Bake in 350° oven for 6 to 8 minutes (no longer).

6Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over mixture.

7Spread as they melt.

8Sprinkle with nuts; pat nuts into chocolate.

9Refrigerate for 1 hour and break into pieces.

10Keep in cookie can or Ziploc bags.

11Will keep 2 to 3 weeks.

12Tastes like English toffee.
