- vanilla wafers (about 48)
- vanilla pudding and pie filling
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 medium bananas, sliced
Directions

1Line bottom and sides of 8-inch square or 1 1/2-quart baking dish with wafers.

2Combine pudding mix, milk and butter in saucepan.

3Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.

4Remove from heat; lay slices of bananas over wafers, then add a layer of pudding.

5Repeat layer, wafers, bananas and pudding.

6Chill 3 hours.

7Serve whip creme topping.

8Mother used meringue topping.

9Garnish with bananas.
