  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 4 heaping Tbsp. flour
  • 4 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
  • 3 eggs, separated (save whites for meringue)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 pie shell, baked

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix the first 4 ingredients with the milk, a little at a time. Cook and stir until thick.

    Add vanilla and margarine.

    Pour into baked pie shell; top with meringue and brown in oven.

    Cool and serve.
