  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 stick Imperial margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten well
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Mix first 3 ingredients and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Mix eggs with softened cream cheese and beat until well blended.

    Add vanilla and mix well.

    Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.

    Pour powdered sugar mixture over crust and bake for 45 minutes.

    Let cool in pan.
