- 1/2 c. margarine (not butter), melted
- 1 (18.25 oz.) yellow cake mix (no pudding in it)
- 3 eggs
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
- 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine margarine, cake mix and 1 egg.

2Stir together until moistened.

3Pat mixture into bottom of well-greased 15 x 10-inch baking pan.

4Beat remaining 2 eggs lightly, then beat in cream cheese and powdered sugar.

5Stir in coconut and nuts.

6Pour over mixture in pan spreading evenly.

7Bake at 325° for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown.

8Cool pan on wire rack to room temperature. Makes 4 dozen bars.
