- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Directions

1Melt butter and margarine.

2Combine all ingredients and mix well.

3Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350°.

4This bread will rise while baking and then fall.

5When it falls, remove from oven as the bread will be hard if overcooked.

6Slice and serve.
