Neptune'S Beer Batter

   Measure the flour into a bowl.

   Make a well in the flour; add the egg yolk, beer and salt.

   Stir until well blended.

   Gradually add milk; stir until smooth.

   Fold in stiffly beaten egg white. Makes enough to coat 1 pound of fish.
