  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Beat eggs slightly.

    Add sugar and salt.

    Add milk and vanilla flavoring. Pour into 8-inch glass baking dish or 8 individual baking cups.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Set in pan of hot water and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

    Cool at room temperature. Serve plain or top with whipped cream.
