  • 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening (oil)
  • 5 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup

Directions

    Mix ingredients except soups and roll on floured board.

    Cut in strips and drop in near boiling broth.

    Simmer with lid on.

    Gently stir occasionally.

    Add to your broth where chicken has been cooked:

    cream of chicken soup and cream of celery soup (undiluted).

    If you have only a small amount of broth, add 1 can water.
