- 3 tbsp. shortening
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 5 tbsp. water or cold chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Mix flour,

2salt and pepper.

3Cut in shortening with a pastry blender.

4Add broth or water and egg.

5Makes a soft dough.

6Divide into two parts and roll our very thin and cut into strips.

7Let dry at least 15 minutes.

8Cut into small squares and drop into boiling chicken broth.
