Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 slices bread, cubed
Directions

1Beat eggs and milk together.

2Sift dry ingredients together. Add to egg mixture and work thoroughly.

3Add bread cubes.

4Form into 2 dumplings.

5Let rise 1 hour (they don't get very big).

6Put into boiling water (use large pot).

7Boil for 10 minutes.

8Do not lift lid.

9Turn over and boil 10 more minutes.

10Keep pot covered. When finished, cut with string.

11Great with gravy.
