- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 3 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Place sugar, unbeaten egg whites, cream of tartar and water in top of double boiler.

2With eggbeater, whip briskly while cooking mixture over vigorously boiling water, but do not touch top of upper pan.

3Whip until stiffly beaten.

4Remove from heat and add vanilla.
