- 22 squares graham crackers, rolled fine
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks, beaten well
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar well; add egg yolks and beat well until thoroughly blended.

2Stir the baking powder into the cracker crumbs.

3Add the milk and crackers crumbs alternately and blend thoroughly.

4Stir in the chopped nut meats.

5Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold these into the mixture last.

6Bake in two 8-inch pans in moderate oven, 350°, about 45 minutes.
