- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 3 egg whites
- dash of salt
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Stir together the cornstarch into boiling water in a saucepan. Boil for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.

2Cover and cool.

3Beat the egg whites and a dash of salt until foamy.

4Add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating well.

5Continue beating until stiff peaks form.

6Beat into cornstarch mixture.

7Put on top of baked pie and bake until brown in a 350° oven.
