Directions

1Beat egg whites with cream of tartar.

2Beat sugar in gradually.

3Beat until mixture is stiff and glossy and sugar is dissolved.

4Swirl meringue on pie filling.

5Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.

6For a crisper meringue bake longer.
