  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 3 separated egg whites

Directions

    Place sugar, cornstarch and water in saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly and cook until mixture is thick, then cool.

    Beat egg whites until stiff.
  3. 3
    Add cooled sugar mixture and beat well. Spread over pie filling and bake 20 minutes or until browned at 350°.
