- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- pinch of salt
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Blend cornstarch and cold water in saucepan.

2Add boiling water and cook, stirring, until clear and thickened.

3Let stand until completely cold.

4Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Turn mixer to low speed and add salt and vanilla.

5Gradually beat in cold cornstarch mixture.

6Beat well.

7Spread on pie.

8Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
