- 1 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Directions

1Cut the shortening into the flour until pea size.

2Add the cold water, egg and vinegar.

3Add more water, if necessary, for right consistency.

4Makes four 1 crust or 2 double crust pies. Will freeze or will keep in refrigerator 2 to 3 weeks. Also good for sausage rolls.
