  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. shortening (butter Crisco)
  • 6 Tbsp. cold milk
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar (apple cider)

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar and salt.

    Blend in Crisco; mix milk, egg and vinegar last.

    Roll in ball.

    Can be used immediately or store in refrigerator in sealed bag for later.

    Makes 1 cobbler and 2 pan pies.
