- 5 c. flour
- 1 lb. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- water to equal 1 c.*
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients together and blend in shortening.

2*In 1 cup measuring cup, beat egg; add a few drops of water.

3Add vinegar; fill cup with water.

4This equals 1 cup liquid.

5Add liquid to flour and shortening mixture and mix.

6Yields 6 single crusts.

7Can be cut down to 1/2 recipe, equals 3 single crusts (still use the whole egg).

8Rolls out great!
