- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sweet milk
Directions

1Sift flour, salt and sugar together.

2Cut in shortening with pastry blender. Add beaten egg and milk which have been mixed together.

3Mix and shape into ball.

4Lightly roll pastry into circle 1-inch larger than pie plate.

5Pat out air bubbles, fold edges under and crimp.

6Prick entire crust before baking. Bake at 450° for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

7Make more than one pie shell.
