- 5 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 2 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
Directions

1Stir dry ingredients together.

2Add to shortening; work into a meal.

3Put vinegar and egg into a 1 cup measure and add cold water to fill to 1 cup line.

4Add to other ingredients and work dough until it comes off hands.

5Form into balls.

6Roll dough out on floured surface with floured rolling pin.

7Leftover dough can be stored in refrigerator for 2 days, otherwise freeze.

8Take dough out of freezer the night before you need it and place in refrigerator.
