Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb. flank steak
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1-1/2 c. diced green pepper
  • 2 large tomatoes (or 1 large can whole tomatoes)
  • 2 c. cooked rice

Directions

    Blend soy sauce, water, cornstarch, pepper and garlic.

    Slice steak across grain and mix into soy sauce mixture.

    Heat oil and add peppers till tender.

    Mix in drained meat and cook till brown. Stir in tomatoes and soy sauce mixture and simmer until tender. Serve over hot cooked rice.
