  • 1 1/4 c. shortening
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 5 Tbsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar (white)
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cut shortening into flour.

    Mix egg with water, vinegar and salt.

    Add to flour mixture and blend well.

    Rest dough 5 minutes. Roll out and trim to fit pie plate.

    Makes two 9-inch crusts.
