Never Fail Pie Crust

  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 7 Tbsp. water

Directions

    Cut shortening into flour and salt until it resembles crumbs. Combine slightly beaten egg, vinegar and water.

    Sprinkle on dry ingredients.

    Mix with fork.

    Let stand about 10 minutes.

    Roll out or divide and put in refrigerator.

    Very good for freezing. Makes 3 or 4 crusts.
