- 4 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 2/3 c. shortening
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar (white)
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients with the shortening, cutting it in until mixture is the size of peas.

2Beat the egg, water and vinegar with a fork.

3Add to flour mixture; mix well.

4Form into a ball.

5Divide ball into four (4) pieces.

6Each piece will roll to make one (8 or 9-inch) pie crust.

7Unused portions may be wrapped and stored in refrigerator for a week or freezer about 1 month.
