- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco (keep Crisco in refrigerator)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. ice water
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar and salt.

2Cut in Crisco to texture of small peas.

3Add egg.

4Mix together vinegar and ice water, then add to mix.

5Bring ingredients together, mixing as little as possible. Divide dough.

6Roll out to desired size on a lightly floured piece of waxed paper.

7Makes 2 pies and 1 crust.

8Bake crust 10 to 12 minutes in 425° oven.

9Bake fruit pie 25 minutes in 375° oven, then remove foil that covers the edges of the pie.

10Bake for 20 to 25 minutes more or until crust is golden.
