  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • salt

Directions

    Bring milk and eggs to room temperature.

    Grease 6 individual custard cups or popover pans (not muffin tins).

    Mix milk, flour and salt.
  4. 4
    Place custard cups on a cookie sheet, leaving space around each cup.

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Put cups in oven to warm them.
  7. 7
    Batter should sizzle when it goes in cups.

    Add eggs to batter, one at a time, not overbeating.

    Pour batter into cups. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° for 15 minutes. Do not open oven during baking time.
