- 5 Tbsp. Crisco
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. quick rise yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Cream together Crisco and sugar. Add egg and salt.

2Mix yeast in warm water.

3Add flour alternately with yeast mixture to Crisco batter until easy to work on board.

4Knead remaining flour into dough.

5Let rise until double, about 1 1/2 hours.

6Punch down. Make into rolls.

7Rise again.

8Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
