- 2 yeast cakes, crumbled
- 1 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 6 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Mix sugar, shortening, salt and boiling water.

3When this mixture is lukewarm, add yeast mixture and eggs.

4Beat with mixer.

5Add flour. Cover with greased wax paper.

6Put in refrigerator. Roll out and let rise as needed. Bake at 400° for about 15 minutes.

7Dough keeps in refrigerator for several days.
