Ingredients
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 c. oil
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 5 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Mix together warm water, yeast and sugar; when yeast dissolves add oil, buttermilk and baking soda, mix well. Add flour.

2Put in a covered bowl for a few hours or overnight.

3Stir, put on floured board and work with hands to form a biscuit.

4Bake at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until brown.

5Can be kept up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
