- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 8 oz. dates, cut up
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Melt butter or margarine in a saucepan.

2Add dates to butter, then add sugar.

3Cook for 5 minutes, then add remaining ingredients.

4Put on powdered sugar waxed paper.

5Roll into long loaf.

6Cool.

7Slice thin.
