- 2/3 c. NutraSweet
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. applesauce
- 3 egg whites
- 2/3 c. white flour
- 2/3 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. oat bran
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 c. shredded pears
Directions

1Spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with Pam.

2In a large mixing bowl, combine sugars, applesauce and egg whites.

3Beat with a wooden spoon until well blended. Add flours, oat bran, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.

4Stir until moistened. Stir in shredded pears.

5Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

6You may add 1 cup chopped nuts, if preferred, before cooking.
