  • 1 1/2 cups sliced and crushed mangos, (about 3 fully ripe mangos) Whole Foods 2 ea For $4.00 thru 02/09
  • 3/4 cup crushed strawberries
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
  • 1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin

Directions

    MEASURE prepared fruit into a large bowl.

    ADD sugar to fruit and mix well.

    Let stand 10 minutes.

    STIR in liquid fruit pectin and lemon juice.

    CONTINUE to stir for 3 minutes until most of the sugar is dissolved.

    POUR into clean jars or plastic containers.

    Cover with tight lids and let stand at room temperature until set (may take 24 hours).

    STORE in freezer.

    If used within 3 weeks, jam may be stored in refrigerator.
