- 1 can cherries (peaches, pears or other fruit with juice can be used)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 stick margarine or butter
Directions

1Heat can of cherries.

2Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and milk.

3Melt margarine or butter in 2 quart baking dish.

4Pour the mixed batter over the top of the melted butter, then pour hot fruit over batter and bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes.
