No Fail Pie Crust

  • 6 c. flour
  • 1 lb. lard (not shortening)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar

Directions

    Cut the first 3 ingredients together with pastry blender.

    In a large measuring cup, beat egg.

    Add vinegar and fill cup with water.

    Add to flour mixture and mix to blend.

    These crusts can be separated into small bags and frozen to use at a later time (although they are best when baked fresh!).

    Makes 6 to 8 crusts.
