- 5 c. spaghetti sauce
- 12 oz. raw lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, uncooked
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- 8 slices American cheese
- 8 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Pour 1 1/2 cups of spaghetti sauce into a 9 x 12-inch lasagna pan.

2Add a layer of raw noodles.

3Add 1/2 of the meat in small chunks.

4Sprinkle with onion and spoon on the cottage cheese. Cover with 1 1/2 cups of sauce, then a layer of noodles.

5Layer the sliced American cheese and rest of meat in small pieces.

6Pour on 2 cups sauce.

7Press down.

8Pour hot water gently over top.

9Press down again.
-
10Cover with foil.

11Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.

12Remove foil.

13Cover with Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.

14Bake uncovered another 15 to 20 minutes.

15Let stand 5 minutes.
