Ingredients

  • 2 deep dish 9 inch pie shells, baked
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 16 oz. Cool Whip
  • 7 oz. coconut, optional
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 jar butterscotch ice cream topping

Directions

    Blend cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Fold in Cool Whip. Brown pecans and coconut in melted margarine in a 300° oven for about 15 minutes.

    If you choose to use pecans only, and no coconut, use 1/4 stick margarine.

    Layer into baked pie crust the following: 1/3 of the cream cheese mixture; 1/3 of the butterscotch topping (drizzled over the cream cheese), and 1/3 of the nuts mixture, Repeat layers and freeze.
