No-Pot Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 tsp. olive oil or butter
- pinch of basil, tarragon and oregano
- salt and butter
Directions

1Wash, core and cut each tomato into 8 chunks.

2Peel the onions; chop them roughly and add to tomatoes.

3Add butter or oil, salt, pepper and herbs.

4Wrap the mixture in foil and seal the edges well.

5(You may even want to wrap it in 2 layers.)

6Tuck the package down in the coals or place it on the grill.

7Depending on the heat of the fire, allow 15 to 30 minutes, enough time for the onions to get tender.

8Serve these with grilled hamburgers, steak or chicken for an easy no-pot supper.
