No-Rise Yeast Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 c. very warm water
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 c. self-rising flour

Directions

    Place yeast in warm water.

    Cream sugar with melted butter in large bowl.

    Add beaten egg.

    Add dissolved yeast to creamed mixture, then add flour and stir until mixed.

    Bake by dropping spoonfuls into well-greased muffin tins.

    Bake at 350° for about 20 minutes.

    The batter does not need to rise to bake or to refrigerate.

    Place in airtight bowl and keep refrigerated.

    Will last several days.
