- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 small onion
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 8 ounces pasta (rigatoni, elbow, mostaciolli)
- 8 ounces ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 (16 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
- mushroom (optional)
Directions

1Brown sausage, hamburger, onion and garlic.

2Drain.

3In large pasta pot, boil pasta and cook aldente' as recommended on package.

4Drain.

5Return to pasta pot.

6Add cooked meat mixture, cheeses, spaghetti sauce and mushrooms.

7Mix thoroughly.

8You can serve immediately, or put in large casserole dish and cover with additional mozzarella and bake until bubbly (approx 45 min).

9You can make this dish lighter by using low-fat burger and no-fat cheeses and it still tastes fantastic.
