  • 1 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 beaten egg whites
  • 2 c. nonfat buttermilk

Directions

    Mix the corn meal, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Add the beaten egg whites and buttermilk. Pour into a prepared 8-inch square pan. Bake in preheated 400° oven for 35 to 40 minutes until the top is golden and toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm.
