- 1 lb. wide noodles
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. farina
- 6 to 8 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 lb. small-curd cottage cheese
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 jar Musselman's cherry pie filling
- cinnamon and sugar
Directions

1Cook noodles according to package directions, almost tender (6 to 7 minutes).

2Drain.

3Combine all remaining ingredients except cherries and cinnamon-sugar.

4Blend well.

5Stir into hot noodles. Pour half the noodle mixture into large 4-quart baking or roasting pan.

6Spread cherries over surface.

7Add remaining noodle mixture. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon-sugar.

8Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

9Serve hot or cold with sour cream if desired. Makes 12 to 16 servings.
