- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg white, unbeaten
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- 3 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 cup sugar
Directions

1Beat together eggs and sugar and blend in melted butter.

2Gradually stir in sifted flour and baking powder.

3Mix well.

4Roll out thin on floured board and cut into narrow finger length strips.

5Place on lightly greased and floured cookie sheets.

6Brush with unbeaten egg white and dot with chopped almonds.

7Bake at 350 degrees for about 8-10 minutes.
