- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
- 4 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Mix eggs and sugar in bowl.

2Add sour cream; mix well.

3Stir in vanilla and almond flavoring.

4Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

5Add to egg mixture gradually, mixing well after each addition.

6Chill, covered, for several hours to overnight.

7Remove 1/4 of the dough at a time from refrigerator.

8Shape by teaspoonfuls into 7-inch rope.

9Shape as for pretzels on ungreased cookie sheet.

10Bake at 375° for 10 minutes or until light brown.

11Store between layers of paper towels in airtight container.
