- 1 c. shortening or margarine
- 4 qt. mashed potatoes
- 1/2 c. cream
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Blend potatoes and shortening. Allow to cool in refrigerator. With 5 cups of potato mix, blend in cream, salt, sugar and flour. Take a 1/4 portion and roll out on a floured surface.

2This dough is very difficult to handle, so work with small amount at a time. Too much flour makes the Lefsa tough.

3Cook on a flat plate or pan.
