  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, lightly browned
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (12 oz.) can corn, undrained
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal

    Put in a shallow 2-quart baking dish.

    If too dry, add a small amount of water.

    Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes, or until lightly browned on top.
