- 2/3 c. peanut butter
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 c. cake flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. rolled oats
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 c. cherries
Directions

1Cream peanut butter and shortening.

2Add sugar, a little at a time.

3Sift flour, salt and soda.

4Add eggs to milk.

5Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk to the creamed mixture.

6Add rolled oats, raisins, dates and nuts.

7Stir well.

8Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet.

9Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.

10Makes 4 dozen.
